Before I forget, I need to thank Mary C. for bringing the quilt tops to me yesterday. I think, if it's alright with you, Mary, that I'll take them over to the Senior Center and let them work on them. They are way heavy! That's what happens when you make them out of the single and double knits. I would cut them in half and make four lap robes... Now, the other piece you brought me that had some quilting on it, I have decided to take the stitches out and use both pieces as backs for the comfort quilts. I can see why they decided not to continue quilting. You can't see the design from either the front or the back! Too much work not to be able to enjoy seeing the fruits of your labor, I think. But, the fabrics are wonderful and already pieced big enough for two quilt backs, or linings, as some would call them.
Now that I've taken a break from cutting scraps, it's time to cut a few more.

I loved it, Veronica - "a girl can't live by scraps alone..." hehe.... organized chaos, what fun! Sounds like you've accomplished a lot by tackling that pile of color!! Have a great week!
Love your tissue holders! Did you make up the pattern?
HUGZ:)
I really like the tissue holders...and you are right...when a sneeze is about to happen...I need a tissue quick! Would you be willing to post the link for the pattern?
Thanks :)
