The room with a view is where we stayed. It is absolutely beautiful there. 'Course, we didn't spend much time in the room to enjoy the view, but we had it.
This was Dad's favorite thing about the whole trip. The little scooter was just what he needed to get around the hotel and casino. There was no way he could've managed the looong hallways. He did have to use the walker at the other casino, but it wasn't too bad. He got a lot of exercise and that's why he is so sore today.
I'm sorry the picture where Dad is smiling on the scooter is so light. But, I think you can see the smile on his face. We were fortunate enough to get to see many friends and relatives while in Mescalero (that's where the Inn of the Mountain Gods is located). I wish we could've spent a little more time with my aunt and her family, but it's hard to get it all in when you're just there for the night and one day.
I called the shop this morning and Carol told me there is no one on my book for the day, so I am just going to take it slow this morning. I'll get ready for the day and run my Monday errands. I want to pick up some beige fabric for the Star Lights quilt we'll be starting very soon.
