This clock is a little different from the ones I made last week. My oldest son decided he'd like for me to make one with pictures of my granddaughter. This is Brittany with her mom and little brother. Hopefully, Lisa won't see this until after she gets it. Joe had lots of ideas for me to try. lol It was his idea to do the embroidery. What a mom won't do for her child!
It finally hit me. I've got a head cold. Jim warned me. But, I can't convince him that you can't catch a cold simply by not wearing a coat when you go from the car into a building. I'm so hot-natured that it's got to be snowing for me to wear a heavy coat. I believe that you catch colds from other people and I see people every day.
Time to go see some of those folks now. Have a good Wednesday.

I'm so hooked on trying to make one of those clocks. I did find on line the issue where it came from and I have everyone looking at their old magazine for the pattern. My question to you is how are you hanging them? My daughter said she thought the ones in the magazine were framed. I'm thinking maybe a small ring in each upper corner would work. I'm already thinking ahead towards next Christmas.
What a great clock! You know that will be well-received. =)
veronica,
You do such awesome things. Im facinated with the clocks your doing lately, like everyone else.
WOuld you share with me where the pattern was originaly?? I guess I missed that part. I love the picture clock idea...!!!! How about a tutorial??

Wow V... I missed reading your blog for a few days and you have sewed up the world! LOL! WOW! I love everything you have made. Beautiful work. I might have to try the clock as gifts for a couple of people after Christmas though. Y
Neat clock!
I'm like that about colds too... I definitely believe in the germ theory of disease. Washing your hands and wiping down surfaces that coughing/sneezing people have touched will keep you from catching many colds - a lot more than going outside with a wet head or no coat will. :)
Veronica I just love the clocks you have made! I hope you feel better by now.
