Tuesday project

I got off early today, around 12 noon, so I came home and decided to make this tablerunner. A client at work is wanting a Christmas runner. I hope she likes it.

I used blocks from a panel that someone gave me in a stash they shared with me. I decided to surround them with a log cabin pattern and then thought they needed to be tilted a bit for some interest. Now that I look at the picture, I wish I had used a navy blue fabric for the bindinig. That's what happens when I get in a hurry. Oh well..it's done and if she doesn't like it, I guess I have another runner. lol

I really need to start quilting some of the tops I have finished. They will be Christmas gifts, I hope. That's my next project for the weekend.

This was a great idea to use panels. It is beautiful.
I have started to make christmas present now and maybe I use panels like this for a table runner.

I love your table runner!

I have the same snowman blocks. I used mine in a courthouse step setting that will eventually make it to bed quilt size....if it ever gets off my UFO pile!
