I just couldn't rest with this not finished. Jim helped me decide what kind of border to put on this. I tried green and blue fabrics and we both decided they were way too busy to use as a border. They just took away from the center. So, I figured a black border would be best and he agreed. I added a narrow 3-D border before sewing on the 3" black border. I like it!
This is a record! Sometimes I don't post for several days and today I posted twice! So, now I'm too tired to work on the stars. This is getting ridiculous. I've really GOT to get busy with projects for Christmas! I know, this is a Nativity scene. Can't get much more Christmas-y than that! But, it's for me. :-) I'm off to bed.

That is so beautiful! It's no wonder you couldn't rest until you finished it. I'm very impressed.
This is gorgeous! What a bargain too at just $2.00! Can you provide more details on the pattern? I have seen you post before from this pattern but I have not yet been able to find a copy anywhere. Thanks.
