"Lunch of the Penguins"

Today is April's birthday and I finished her penguin quilt just in time. She and Rob are on their way over to collect it and her b'day cards. When I saw this pattern in the new "Quilter's World" magazine, I knew I had to make it for her since she had a "penguin-thing" for Christmas this past year. It's a very simple pattern and the skill level is "beginner". Worked up fast and the quilting was very simple. I used a homespun plaid for the border. Happy Birthday, April!

That is just the most adorable thing I have seen in ages! She has to be thrilled.

I was just looking at that pattern today and thinking how I could use up some penguin fabric with that pattern. It truly is cute. How do you manage all this? Your work is awesome.
