Over the Top

Found this pattern in the newest issue of Quilts and More. A different style, to say the least. Kinda small, too. But, fun to make. I've made so many little purses lately that I think I'll donate them to the Lighhouse or some other deserving group to pass out as Christmas gifts for little girls. My friends and/or relatives have enough of my bags! LOL

What a day. I called in sick this morning because this head cold left me so weak I could hardly stay up for 30 minutes at a stretch. I slept most of the day and at 3 o'clock, Jim took me to the doctor. I have a bad sinus infection with a RED throat (he wondered why I did not seem to have more trouble with it than I was having). Gave me an allergy shot, antibiotic and cough meds. I stayed up all evening working on this little bag. Jim fixed bologne and cheese sandwiches. Why do sandwiches taste so much better when someone else makes them?

Off to bed in hopes that I get a better night's sleep.

Thanks for the prayers, Joann. It's almost 5 a.m. here and I'm totally awake and do feel much better. Still have a runny nose and a little cought, but I think I'll make it to work today.

No, the package has not arrived yet, but I bet it will in the next day or two. Thanks for checking in. Please send me a note at my email address so I can have your's added to my list. Thanks! V.

I think they taste better because they are made with love :).
