Some fun applique

I found this cute little stick figure girl in the May/June '08 issue of "Quiltmaker". They had a whole big quilt built around it but I thought it fit just right on this little 9-Patch. I started the applique this afternoon, just before I had to go to "jail" for MDA. Judy and I went to the Cotton Patch to turn our donations in and eat a free meal. It was nice. Couldn't wait to get home to finish this, though. I thought I might start quilting it tonight, but I'm just too tired. The comfort quilt I worked on last night really kicked my butt, but I loved every minute of it. I can sure tell I'm getting older! LOL I did get that quilt in the mail today, though.

Whew! I think I'm going to bed.

What a great little design, wouldn't that be great for a grandchild's quilt??

Awwww! Cute quilt!

I found this short video online about quilters down in Texas who donate their quilts to different charities, including children's causes. I just thought you might want to see it, especially if you've ever thought about donating quilts for charity. The link is:
