It's a bird! It's a plane! No, it's....

SUPERBAG! Honestly, I have never made a bag this big! I found the pattern in the April 2009 issue of McCall's Quilting. The text reads "Bet you can't make just one!" LOL Bet me! It was fun and I really like the outcome, but I dunno... I still need to find a piece of lightweight cardboard to put on the bottom to give it some stability. The cardboard needs to be 9" x 17". Gives you an idea of how big it is. It will definitely carry ALL the necessities, and more!

The new Country Calendar BOM pattern is up. I want to get four of them done this month, so I'd best get to it. Today is Lubbock day and I must do some bill paying, as well. Have a decent Monday!

When we need a bottom for a bag here we go to our local hardware store and have a piece of plexi glass cut. It's very inexspensive and it works great. Just make a cover for it and remember to round out the corners.

I can't tell you how much I have enjoyed my bag. The colors are just me and it holds everything for my day of work at the hospital. Thanks so much for loving me and giving me the gifts of your talent. Love you Earlene
